When a visitor arrives, they simply scan the QR code using their smartphone to access a directory and select the intended resident to initiate a video call. The resident receives the call directly through the PINGPAD mobile application, regardless of location, as long as Internet connectivity is available.
Before accepting entry, the resident can preview the visitor through live video to verify identity and assess the purpose of the visit. Once verified, the resident may remotely unlock the building entrance directly from the PINGPAD app, granting the visitor entrance access without requiring physical presence on-site.
Where individual apartment units are also equipped with SEAM-compatible smart locks, residents may additionally grant remote access to their own unit entrance, enabling fully contactless visitor access from building entry through unit access.
